One of his greatest acoomplishments is the co-founding of life-bote ethics. He cofounded it with the esteemed proffeser, Ovi, of University of Botre Dame. Joel is also the creator of the famous dragnet theme song. He is the dean of faculty at the Yeshiva of Flatbush high school, where he enjoys kicking kids (Shlomo husni) out of class. He very much dislikes the works of professor Jaqes Mozzeri and attempted multiple times to get him thrown in jail. Joel also Is a member of the salty spatoon where he slipped on an ice cube and got taken to weenie hut generals. He has written a book about this experience, the book is called " the life of a robeye" where he teaches Jewish philosophy and mathematics. He has written extensively on topics pertaining to the role of women in Judaism and Jewish medical ethics. He is the Associate Editor of ''Tradition, the Journal of Jewish Thought'', published by the Rabbinical Council of America, the ''Tora u-Madda Journal'' published by Yeshiva University, and ''MeOtzer HoRav: Selected Writings of Rabbi Joseph B.
